Mayfair Clean-up Committee

The Mayfair Clean-Up Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers who pick up trash within the community boundaries. Generally the volunteers find themselves on Cottman Avenue, Rowland Avenue or Tyson Avenue because trash tends to be a function of traffic volume but they will go anywhere there is a need. The group does not work in the limits of the Frankford Avenue Business Improvement District, which has dedicated staff under contract to perform regular street cleaning. 

We encourage everyone of able body and mind to do their part on their block, but if you see a particular litter problem within the Mayfair Civic boundaries feel free to message the Clean-Up group via their Facebook page where you can also check out photos of their volunteer work and perhaps offer to volunteer your time, which is always appreciated.
