Fire Hydrant - NO PARKING!

Residents of Mayfair - Heed this warning!

During our last Mayfair Civic Association meeting, a gentleman representing the firehouse at Frankford and Hartel mentioned the ongoing problem associated with vehicles blocking fire hydrants. This not only prevents firemen from using those hydrants, but it also impedes their ability to find them. This message was relayed to the 15th Police District, and they have advised us of the following:

Supervisors have been notified, and if our officers find vehicles parked in front of a fire hydrant, that vehicle WILL be ticketed and possibly towed!
