Mayfair is a vibrant Northeast Philadelphia neighborhood, home to a variety of stores, pubs and restaurants and the proud host of community events all year long. The Civic Association consists of volunteer citizens focused on the betterment of their Community.
Our General meetings are held the 3rd Monday of March, May, September and November and the 4th Monday of January at 7PM at the Mayfair Community Center, St. Vincent St. and Battersby St.
We're wondering if you would like to participate in an opportunity to speak to the Members of the Mayfair Civic Association during Candidates Night on Monday March 21st at the Mayfair Community Center (2990 St.Vincent st - 19149).
The meeting will begin at 7:00pm, and candidates will be given two (2) minutes to address our Members.
Candidates will be called to speak in the order that they arrive.
The Mayfair Civic Association's Candidates Night is typically very well attended .... Please let me know if you will be able to attend so that we can add you to our agenda.
We are pleased to offer an invitation to attend our annual St. Matty's Day Dance Party. This event is a great opportunity for alum, friends and family to celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of the St. Patrick's season.
The party is scheduled for March 5 in the school auditorium. Tickets are available for $40 per person. Ticket price includes live music from Masquerade, the Ultimate Premier Party Band, catered food, can beer, soda, water, basket auction, prize raffle and 50/50. Also, it's a BYOB.
Tickets are available at the school and SCRIP offices during their normal business hours or by.email at firstname.lastname@example.org We suggest that you make table reservations (8 or 10) early since we sold out (400) last year. We depend on contributions for the basket raffle which is a huge part of raising funds at this event. Please contact Barbara Gress at 215-470-3166 or firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to donate a basket or items for the baskets including merchandise, gift cards etc. You may also make a monetary donation by check to support this event payable to ”Friends of Saint Matthew, Inc.” if that is more convenient.
