Eric -- Last year, a coalition of community and civic leaders in the Northeast organized around a common goal: splitting the 15th police district. Out of that effort, we were able to secure an unprecedented 30 new police officers to patrol our neighborhoods. It's that kind of focused, community-driven effort that inspired Northeast 2020. This Saturday, that effort continues at Ethan Allen School from 10-2, where our third issue forum will focus on public safety. Join us Saturday to contribute your own ideas, express your concerns and help form a community-driven plan of action that we can accomplish by 2020.
