Methadone Clinic Press Conference and Meeting

Philadelphia, PA, July 17, 2012 – Yesterday, neighborhood leaders, elected officials and attorneys met to discuss recent decision of the Court of Common Pleas with respect to the pending Methadone Clinic at Frankford and Decatur.    We decided that on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 5PM at Frankford and Decatur, those same leaders will be hosting a press conference, to announce that we will be seeking an appeal in this matter and announce a community meeting for the following week.  That community meeting will be to brief local residents, give an update on the appellate process and field questions from the community and will be held on Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 6PM at Lincoln High School (3200 Ryan Ave.).

In the meantime, if you are interested in donating to the legal expenses of The Mattioni Law Firm in fighting this ongoing legal battle to preserve our neighborhood. Checks should be made payable to Mattioni Limited, reference 7900 Frankford Ave. Their Mailing Address is 399 Market Street, Suite 200, Philadelphia, PA 19106-2138. If you would like to aid in this effort, please email mayfaircivicassociation@yahoo.com or contact Holmesburg Civic Association at holmesburgcivic@gmail.com.
