Now is the time to show your community spirit and pride.

Join us in our 36th stroll down the Ave. this year theme- "Neighborhood Unity"!

We want to celebrate our community and all the local business who have been the financial backbone of our neighborhood. Many generations have come to the Ave for this fun family event each fall whether they still live here or have since moved away.

It is a time to gather with friends and family near and far and snuggle up with blankets to watch the parade; while back at home, there is a pot of something delicious on the stove waiting to be shared. Each year the parade is put on through donor support and advertising opportunities

Description

Since our parade route travels along three different neighborhoods, we found it only fitting to ask the Presidents of those the three neighboring Civic Associations to be our Grand Marshals this year. General Information

The parade starts at Rhawn St at 12:00 noon and ends at Knorr St.

There are many fine areas for viewing all along the route.
For your pleasure, groups will perform at Cottman and Frankford and in front of the reviewing stand.

The order of march is the latest information as provided by the Parade Committee. Look for your favorite group and cheer them on. Our appologies but, changes in the order can occur at the last minute.

Please be considerate and recognize that uniforms, costumes, and flags are expensive to clean if they get dirty.
We ask that you do not spray or throw items such as silly string at the parade participants

Awards

We will have a stage set up with an announcer this year at Frankford and Cottman avenues.
Participants will have the opportunity to perform for two to three minutes at this location.

We've also added the opportunity for our local community to enter in their own home made ﬂoats.

We'll be awarding ribbons for the
"Most Creative Float", "The Funniest Float", as well as "The Best Parade Themed Float".
