Re: Appeal for One (1) Use Variance for 3359 Brighton Street (Northwest Corner at Crispin Street)
Cal. No.: 17828 Appl. No.: 397241 Date & Time: Tues., June 12th, 2012, 9:30 a.m. Case No.: 2A
Owner: Ana M Salazar Applicant: Beditza Cadillo Zon. Class.: R-9A Residential

Dear Ms. Brown-Sow:
Please accept this letter on behalf of the Mayfair Civic Association (“MCA”) which represents the neighbors ofthe Mayfair Community. In reviewing the Zoning Board of Adjustment’s Notice, the Applicant/Owner proposes:
“Permit for a Barber Shop with an Accessory Sign as Permitted in C-1 Commercial on the First (1st)
Floor in the Same Building with an Existing Two (2) Family Dwelling Above.”
We ask that the Zoning Board of Adjustment (ZBA) CONTINUE this Case, as the Applicant has failed to communicate and meet with the Mayfair Civic Association (MCA), and three (3) attempts by the Civic Association to reach the Applicant were unsuccessful. In the event that the Applicant/Owner is unwilling to agree to a CONTINUANCE, then the Mayfair Civic Association (MCA) OPPOSES this Variance, based upon numerous unanswered questions from concerned neighbors.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either of us at the numbers below.

Very Truly Yours,
Joseph J. DeFelice, Esq.         Peter J. McDermott
