Re: Free Meter Parking for our Annual Mayfair “May Fair”
Dear Ms. O’Connor:
Please accept this letter on behalf of the Mayfair Civic Association (herein after referred to as “MCA”) and Mayfair Business Association (herein after referred to as “MBA”) as a request to the Philadelphia Parking Authority (herein after referred to as “PPA”) for free meter parking on Saturday May 14, 2011. As you know, the PPA has provided this service to the MCA, MBA and people of Mayfair for the prior three years. The event, which celebrates the businesses and people of our Mayfair Community, is a day long festival with sidewalk sales, live music, competitions, etc. Our specific request is for free meters from 10AM-4PM along Frankford Ave from Rhawn Street to Harbison Avenue as well as the side streets abutting Frankford Avenue, including, but not limited to, the 3500 block of Cottman Avenue. Also, your generosity will be so noted on all materials concerning this event. Thank you in advance for your prompt consideration to this matter.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the number below.
Very Truly Yours,
Joseph J. DeFelice, Esq.
President (215) 292-3926
cc: Michael Scotese, President, Mayfair Business Association
Antonette Montgomery, Secretary, Mayfair Business Association
Peter McDermott, Secretary, Mayfair Civic Association
