Fallen Heroes Run and Walk  The Mayfair Business Association's 2nd Annual Mayfair May Fair will start with the 1st Annual Fallen Heroes Run and Walk. The 5K (3 mile) run and walk will begin at Sackett Street and Ryan Avenue. Runners and walkers will travel around Pennypack Park and the Abraham Lincoln High School and Austin Meehan Middle School campuses and finish at Rowland and Bleigh avenues. All proceeds will benefit the Hero Thrill Show Fund, which provides college scholarships for the children of Philadelphia police officers and firefighters killed or disabled in the line of duty. Every year, the money will be given to the fund in the name of a fallen police officer or firefighter. This year we are honoring Gary Skerski. Runners and Walkers The cost of the run/walk is $25. Most labor and supplies have been donated. All proceeds will benefit the Hero Thrill Show Fund. You can register on line or by mail.   Register on Line with Paypal   After payment, Paypal should take you to the Registration form at Google Documents.
